Because in core 2 duo processors we only have 2 cores and 2 threads. That’s why the Q6600 performs better than the C2D processor.

This processor has a base frequency of 2.40 GHz and the bus speed is 1066 MHz. The TDP required for this processor is 105 Watt. It supports LGA775 socket types. And it is best on Intel 64 architecture, so you can easily run a 64-bit operating system without any problem.
